Whether it's helping veterans find employment, counseling or financial assistance, Buck has made it his mission to get involved in many different military support efforts. He volunteers regularly with Gold Star Families and Wounded Warriors. He mentors young people looking to enlist or re-enlist. He even solicits items for care packages to be personally sent to soldiers overseas. "His care for and devotion to those affiliated with the military in any capacity is simply unparalleled," says his wife and nominator, Joni Bennett. We're proud to recognize Buck's heroics with a $50,000 donation to the USO in his name, along with $2,500 cash and a year's supply of Wonder bread.
Nominated by his sons Cody and Justin, Michael is a volunteer fireman in Inola, OK. The boys are amazed at their dad's ability to volunteer, work a day job and take care of their handicapped sister, Danielle. They also write, "... Dad is a hero because this past year ... he went to help the people of Joplin after the Tornado." Upon returning, Michael started a program to build storm shelters for the people in his community. Wonder is proud to recognize Michael's heroics with $1,000 cash and a year's supply of Wonder bread.

"She is a role model to ALL young girls," said friend and nominator, Deirdre Hanson. We're proud to recognize Jessica's heroics with $1,000 cash and a year's supply of Wonder bread.
